When staging your house to sell, by accessorizing you want to accomplish the look of a model home or a suite in a fine hotel — a place where anyone can move in immediately and feel comfortable.
Accessorizing is like putting on the jewelry, earrings, necklace, and so on to pull an outfit together.
As I suggested before starting any DIY home staging, view model homes. Take photos and notes about home the homes have set a scene for buyers to feel as if they can live there.
Taking notice of the size of the accessories, color, and placement. Also the art works they have chosen, and its size, colors, style, and placement.
When choosing accessories consider:
Balance of male and female taste
Family with children and without children
Singles
